Ryan is amazing at what he does. He is so knowledgable and really takes the time to understand what is going on with your dog. He is so easy to talk to and is always happy to offer advice when needed. He has also trained me and my partner.. not just the dog 😂 would 100% recommend him to anyone struggling. Ryan met a noisy, frustrated, confused boy, unsure of how to behave, lacking in confidence and understanding of what is required, over excited and vocal. He quickly identified the main areas to work on and provided clear demonstrations of how we could work on it. Following that initial assessment meeting we were provided with an in-depth, professional written assessment, with clear indicators and solutions. We also had a sample timetable to work alongside, and guide what we did at home. Our 1:1 sessions have been structured to meet all our issues, solutions and advice has been available in sessions, and at any time I needed it in between. Ryan has called on colleagues to further gather information to assist us, which has resulted in positive outcomes. We have used positive reinforcement techniques with minimal correction ( only when absolutely required) and this has resulted in a much happier, more confident, quiet and settled dog. Our walks have become a joy, and less distressing for both of us. I have found it immensely helpful and interesting to learn what my dog really needs, and Ryan delivers that information in a calm, clear manner without making me feel like I should know that! We will continue to work with Ryan discovering new interests such as scent work, as my dog is a very ‘busy’ worker. I cannot recommend Ryan enough, the change in 4 months is unbelievable. The improvement in quality of life for my dog and us is immense.

Brilliant trainer!

I am genuinely beyond grateful to Ryan and the work he has put in with my anxious and reactive dog Bailey since September. When Ryan first met Bailey, she was terrified of strangers, and incredibly reactive to every dog she passed on her walks. From the very first session we had, Ryan has approached Bailey and her problems with such patience and kindness, and has never shied away from answering my endless questions.

In less than a year, Bailey has become a much more stable and confident dog, and Ryan has also helped me understand better why she reacts this way, how I can manage my own anxiety and leash pressure to avoid stressing Bailey out more. From recall sessions, to exposure walking around the Gnoll, Ryan has truly turned my dog’s life around.

With Ryan’s help, I have actually started to enjoy walking Bailey again, and have gained the confidence to manage reactive and unavoidable situations when they come along. I could not recommend Ryan enough, and am so grateful for his continued help and support!

Our girl Luna we thought was just another barky protective german shepherd who only trusted the humans in the house and a few other selected special people. How wrong were we! Leash pulling was way off the charts for me and walks were stressful.He helped us understand that the constant barking and lunging was her showing signs of fear. The pulling was me not showing her the right way.He's taught us to show Luna that we're in control, and that she doesn't need to be frightened. He's amazing and patient with her showing that he's not only a really good trainer but he cares for the wellbeing of the Luna and the relationship she has with us.Look forward to our next session 😊

Can’t recommend Ryan enough. In only one session we have learnt so much and how to truly engage / interact with our dog Bruce. We have made some good progress in such a short amount of time. Ryan is super supportive and highly knowledgeable. Roll on future sessions!

Very knowledgeable and helpful

Doli, my cocker spaniel, and I learned so much from Ryan. His guidance helped us work together in a completely new way, especially in understanding and improving Doli’s reactive behaviour. He also helped me recognise how my own responses were unintentionally reinforcing her habits. Amazing dog trainer

We came to Ryan with a long list of worries with our puppy, including reactivity, walking like train on a lead and overstimulation just to list a few. Ryan has given us so many amazing tips to help resolve these issues. He has gone above and beyond to help us not only during the sessions, but also through text messaging outside of the sessions when needed. As a result, we have a much calmer pup who we understand better. Ryan is a friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable trainer who we would recommend to anyone! Thank you for everything Ryan!

Miracle worker

I’ve had about four sessions with Ryan now and what an improvement my dog is making. He kicked off our love for obedience and now starting agility. Ryan is always helpful when I have a wobble or when something doesn’t go well with my girl. My girl absolutely loves it when Ryan visits, so much so she tends to always be on her best behaviour and shows me up 😂 thank you Ryan for the wise words and for everything you’ve taught me and Del!

Ryan is great, down to earth, super knowledgeable, helpful and calming. Replies to all my messages with guidance and tips to help me help Luna through her trauma. Luna and I have been attending his social Sunday class for a few months and each one is informative and fun. We will continue with the classes. We are actually sad when we have to miss them. Ryan is an absolutely amazing trainer, he has been with us since day one and we have made lots of progress thanks to his expertise and knowledge.

Honey my hyper goldendoodle loves him. I just wish she would work for us like she does for him 😂. Ryan offers great techniques and will always keep in contact between sessions. We are beyond grateful for the incredible support and guidance Ryan has provided. My rescue dog has struggled with reactivity for a long time, and we often felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to handle it. No challenge is too big for him and he really tries his best to get you and your dog to where you want to be. Ryan's knowledge and experience really shines through and you can see how passionate and enthusiastic he is about his work. Honestly wouldnt recommend anyone else to train your furry best friends.

Best in the business

Ryan has helped me with my staffy Loki…. From being very reactive and pulling on walks, Loki now is much more relaxed on walks, doesn’t pull and his recall has improved so much.

Amazing highly recommend

Would recommend Ryan to anyone, we have a very lead read reactive dog after being attacked twice. Within a couple of months I was able to walk a short distance behind other dog walkers. He has patients, explains the psychology behind behaviours really well and gives a full written report with advice.

I cannot thank Ryan enough for the transformation he helped create in my German Shepherd, Bambi. She started out as a very nervous and reactive dog, and I often felt overwhelmed and unsure of how to help her. After working with Ryan, Bambi is now so much more controlled, confident, and focused.

What really stood out was that Ryan didn’t just work with Bambi — he worked with me as well. I now understand how to handle her when she gets triggered, how to read her body language, and how to guide her calmly and effectively. We’ve been attending the socials with our GSD puppy since he was 13 weeks old, and Ryan’s advice has been invaluable throughout. The sessions have really helped us socialise our puppy, practise recall in a safe, controlled environment, and give him plenty of opportunity to play with other dogs. It’s genuinely his favourite day of the week - he absolutely loves going.

Helped tame a crazy Belgian malinois

Ryan has helped me so much with my Mali. Just basics with a dog so stimulated have worked wonders. There was a point I thought I wouldn’t be able to keep her as she was so hyper. But Ryan, and his hard work at teaching me to teach her helped wonders. I have and will always recommend Ryan!

We have two very different boys. A young silly Labrador and a practically perfect Rottweiler. Walking them together was near on impossible but Ryan gave me the tools and confidence to do this in a short period of time. Forever grateful for his help

I reached out to Ryan as I have a very hyperactive ball obsessed young gsd, Ryan showed me different skills and techniques to use which included scent training to focus my dogs mind on other things to distract her from constantly wanting the ball.

I also attend Ryan's social club on Sundays which Harper and I throughly enjoy as he teaches us different skills each week and for the dogs to interact in a controlled environment.

Crazy cockers tamed

We have two Cocker Spaniels who are full of life. We’d done a lot of basic obedience before meeting Ryan, and while the dogs were great in the house, everything fell apart the moment we stepped outside, where any of that training actually mattered.

Ryan has taught us how to truly work with our dogs in high-distraction environments (which, for our two, is basically anywhere outside the front door!). I’ve never had a bond like I do now with my dogs, and I’ve never enjoyed walking and training as much as I do today.

I used to consider myself fairly knowledgeable about dogs, but what Ryan offers goes far beyond anything I knew. So if you think you don’t need a trainer because you already “know enough” about dogs. Take it from me, you’re wrong. Ryan has genuinely changed our lives for the better.

Ryan has helped me train my standard poodle puppy from about 12 weeks old. Without his help I wouldn’t have been able to achieve half of what we have done with him. He’s become a wonderful dog that is calm in every environment and is proving to be a fantastic show dog, showing real promise in the ring and receiving some lovely comments from judges.

Ryan has been absolutely amazing! He gave me such helpful tips for dealing with my dog pulling on the lead, interacting with other dogs, and even managing a little regression in toileting. Ryan has been helping me out with my gsd x mal. So far great!!! I find him full of knowledge and someone who actually knows what they’re on about. You can tell dogs are everything to him.

If you don’t understand something Ryan is more than happy to explain it in a different way without judgement. He’s given me useful information than I can use whilst training and at any point if I have any concerns I know I could reach out for critique or tips, which he does constructively. Not only is he giving the dog confidence in her ability, I also feel he gives me more confidence in training and handling her.

I contacted Ryan for my extremely busy minded collie. He is an absolute miracle worker. My dog is now walking extremely well on the lead, beginning to learn obedience and loves it when Ryan comes for a visit for new tips and tricks! After rescuing our St Bernard from Romania we really needed help with some full on behavioural issues. Ryan has been amazing. He did a well rounded, thorough assessment and has walked us through training in such a supportive way. I got in touch with Ryan for help with my highly reactive rescue goldendoodle, Lulu. From the first meeting, Ryan was professional, knowledgeable and an instant calming influence on her. He has such a lovely way about him that Lulu enjoys the sessions whilst also learning new behaviours. She is now a different dog. He gave me more confidence with her in the most encouraging yet constructive manner. He genuinely acts in the dog’s best interest and is always keen to share his skills so that you do not need him anymore, albeit will make time for you should you want further support.
