Who I am

Modern Dog Academy is run by Ryan James Llewellyn, Rock Street, Glynneath, Neath SA11 5EE. I am responsible for the personal information you share with me through this website. If you have a question about it, email info@moderndogacademy.co.uk.

What I collect and why

The assessment form (Book a free call). Your name, email address, phone number, town, your dog's name, breed and age, and what you tell me about your dog's behaviour. I use this to prepare for and arrange your free call and, if we go ahead, to plan and deliver your training. The form is delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms.

Online courses interest form. Your name and email address, and what you would like help with. I use these to tell you when online courses are available. You can ask me to remove you at any time.

Call bookings. If you book your call online, the booking is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.

WhatsApp, phone and email. Your name, number or email address and anything you send me. I use them to reply, arrange sessions and support you during a program.

Training videos. Videos you send me, or that I record during sessions for feedback, are only used for your training. I will ask your permission before using any photo or video of you or your dog anywhere else, including social media.

Website statistics. If you accept cookies, the site may use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel to count visits and see which pages people find useful. These tools do not tell me who you are.

My lawful basis

Replying to your enquiry and delivering training is done at your request, before and under our agreement. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Client records, including assessments and training notes, are kept while we work together and for up to 6 years afterwards for insurance and legal reasons.

Who I share it with

I never sell your information. It is only handled by the services named above and my website host, to do the jobs described. Some of these services are based outside the UK and use approved safeguards when they handle your data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@moderndogacademy.co.uk and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The site only sets analytics or advertising cookies if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
