With over a decade of experience both training and working alongside dogs, Ryan founded the Modern Dog Academy in June 2024. His goal was to provide an informed approach towards dog training with an emphasis on combining play with canine education. Ryan is an expert in dog legislation and a Master Professional Dog Training Instructor under the Guild Of Dog Trainers. He also holds six dog specific qualifications related to employment in the emergency service, informing his insight into both the cues of working dogs, and those of the people around them.
